Katarína Tomin Srdošová, PhD.

Katarina completed her studies at the Chemical Technology Faculty of the Technical University in Bratislava in 1993 with MSc degree. In parallel, she studied psychology and education at the Comenius University, graduating in 1994. In 2009, she completed her doctoral studies at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering with a PhD degree. In 2021, she completed Health Faculty for physiotherapy and balneology and healing rehabilitation.

From 1993 to 1999, she was the head of laboratories of the large pharmaceutical company. From 1999 to 2003, she worked for the certification body DNV Slovakia as a lead auditor of QMS, QMS-MD, HACCP, EMS and OHS and as IRCA trainer.

Between 2003 and 2006, she worked as a director of the certification and product certification body Bureau Veritas and BVQA Slovakia.

In 2006-2007, she was the director of the SKTC-101 and NB 1293 EVPÚ Nová Dubnica testing laboratory.

In 2007, Katarina founded the Certification Body NB 3EC International a.s. She is the Chairman of the Board, director of Notified Body 2265 and head of systems and product certification.

Under the leadership of Katarína, 3EC International a.s. has become an international Certification and Notified Body for medical devices and in-vitro diagnostic medical devices. 3EC is notified under the new Regulation (EU) 2017/745 for MD, was the seventeens NB and was the seventh to have been notified under Regulation (EU) 2017/746 for in-vitro MD.

As an auditor of management systems and product certification, Katarína performed more than 1000 audits and as a trainer trained hundreds of individuals in the field of quality, environment, safety and manufacturing personnel for MD and In/vitro MD.
