mechatronics engineer
My name is Attila Fülöp, and I completed my mechatronics engineering degree with a specialization in Biomechatronics at BME in January 2025. Studying in a German-language program also gave me the opportunity to spend a semester in Karlsruhe, Germany. I am currently studying Medical Physics part-time at BME.
Since my freshman year, I have been also active in the Medical Technology Student Association at BME, now serving as a board member to support students’ professional growth.
Since summer 2024, I have been collaborating with Semmelweis University’s Medical Imaging Centre, supporting researchs from the IT and engineering side of optimization techniques of the photon-counting detector CT imaging. This cutting-edge technology, available in only a few institutions worldwide, led to my co-authored Scientific Student Conference thesis, contributing to advancements in medical imaging.
