medical student, Semmelweis University
My name is Dalma Tóth, I am a fifth year medical student at Semmelweis University. Beside my educational activities, I participate in the research group of the cardiovascular computed tomography at the Medical Imaging Centre at Semmelweis University. Our research topics mostly include optimization techniques of the ultramodern photon-counting detector CT, which is only available in a couple of institutes worldwide, what makes our studies pioneer topics. Last year we measured the blooming artifact in atherosclerotic plaques on coronary CT angiographic images. Having international medical experience makes a future doctor outstanding in the clinical practice and research as well. Representing this point of view I had the opportunity to spend several exchange programmes in Sweden, Portugal and Netherlands, I am currently planning my next journey to Germany thanks to the many opportunities my University provides.
