Jesús Rueda Rodriguez is Director-General of Strategies and Special Projects and has extensive experience in the regulatory, international and market access policies for devices and IVDs around the world.
As European industry liaison during the COVID-19 pandemic he remains involved in key questions around pandemic preparedness and supply chain resilience in the medical technology sector.
Has been providing strategic analysis and leadership for the medtech industry for the past 10 years both at the European and international level with a view to facilitate access to technologies for patients.
With over 20 years of experience working for medical technology associations and a background in R&D as a biochemist, he is also an expert on in vitro diagnostics and currently chairs ISO/TC 212.
