Leader of the Quantitative In Vivo Molecular Imaging Center, Semmelweis University
Krisztián Szigeti is a specialist in medical imaging, holding an MSc in biophysics and a PhD in pharmaceutical sciences from Eötvös Loránd University (2001) and Semmelweis University (2008), respectively. He currently leads the Quantitative In Vivo Molecular Imaging Center at Semmelweis University, the largest center of its kind in the region, equipped with all major preclinical imaging modalities and focusing on preclinical studies. He is the co-founder and former CEO of Kinepict Health Kft, the first and only company in Hungary to receive the EIC Accelerator grant, where CE/FDA cleared software has been developed for medical imaging in interventional operating rooms. He received the Gábor Dénes Award in 2022 for his achievements in quantitative imaging, and he is the president of the Gábor Dénes Award Club Association. In addition, he offers consulting services for the development and approval processes related to MDR, IVDR, and MedDev regulations. He has contributed to the scientific community with 144 scientific publications and 5 patents.
